Quality Assurance

We at Pagoda Cables Pvt. Ltd., maintain an exhaustive Quality management manual that conforms to global quality parameters. As per the quality standards prescribed in our manual, we adopt a systematic approach to quality evaluation of all procured raw materials. In short, right from the time when raw materials are procured, our stringent quality measures come into being. Thus, keeping sync with our quality benchmarks, we see that we procure raw materials only from reputed vendors with commendable market credibility. Moreover, our quality auditors conduct a series of validated quality tests on all procured raw materials, including tests like the wrapping test, copper purity test, high voltage test, thermal stability test, torsion/winding test, insulation resistance test, conductor resistance test, HCL gas generation test, Swedish chimney test, etc. In addition, to ensure flawlessness of our wires and cables, a series of final tests based on certain quality criteria are carried out on various finished goods that are enumerated as under:

• Final testing of our electrical wires are carried out to conform to IS:694-90 [Conductor IS:8130 (Type II) and Insulation IS:5831:1984 (Type A)
• Final testing of our FRLS PVC insulated wires are carried out as General Purpose Electrical PVC Wires along with FRLS Tests that conform to ASTM D-2843 & 2863, IEC 754-1 and BICC Handbook Chapter VI
• Final testing of our Flame Retardant Halogen Free Compound Insulated Wires are carried out to conform to IEC 332-1&3, IEEE 383, IEC 754 1&2, ASTM D 2843 & 2863
• Final testing of our Cables are carried out to conform to IS:1554 [Pt-I]:88 and National / International Specifications to suit customer requirements

Infrastructure

We have a robust infrastructural set up at Noida in Uttar Pradesh. Sprawled across a large area, it houses a strong manufacturing plant that is geared with host of machineries and equipment that adhere to highest standards of international quality. Moreover, we also manage a full fledged testing unit armored with sophisticated testing tools and techniques for ensuring top quality of our manufactured range, and a separate R&D wing for incorporating innovation in our product line from time to time. Another component of our infrastructure is our well segregated warehousing unit that aids in effective inventory processing and easy identification and retrieval of our products. Furthermore, our infrastructure also embraces a separate packaging unit wherein our packaging experts ensure that all product packaging is done using quality packaging materials so that products remain damage-free during transit.
